A SONG, A PROMISE, AND A PRAYER FOR MY WRITING FRIENDS
Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God. Whenever I pray, I make my requests for all of you with joy, for you have been my partners in spreading the Good News about Christ from the time you first heard it until now. And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. Philippians 1:3-6 (NLT)
As I began to work on a writing project again that I'm trying to get out before the end of the week, I was reminded of the promise "... that God, who began the good work within (me), will continue his work until it is finally finished ..." (Phil. 1:6).
So, after I listened to to a song based on this promise, "He Who Began a Good Work in You," sung by Steve Green, I wanted to share this song and this promise with my other writing friends.
Sometimes the writing process can be long and discouraging. And I pray this song and promise encourages you as you complete the work that God has begun in you.
Be BLESSED!

What promise from God's Word encourages you today?

Thank you, Karen, for sharing this verse that is SO special to me. And yes, as writers, these words encourage us in our solitary profession. What a blessing to read them. Thank you!
