Thinking about God and His Universe

Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,
even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast.
If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me
and the light become night around me,”
even the darkness will not be dark to you;
the night will shine like the day,
for darkness is as light to you.
If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,
even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast.
If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me
and the light become night around me,”
even the darkness will not be dark to you;
the night will shine like the day,
for darkness is as light to you.
(Psalm 139: 7-12)
My husband, Dan, encouraged me to watch the documentary, "God of Wonders," on Netflix, and I wanted to share this discovery. I hope you'll take the opportunity to view it at some point. I think you will agree—it's an awesome film.
"Led by a selection of Christian authors, ministers and biblical scholars, this documentary makes a compelling argument for the theory that the universe is the creation of an intelligent being. With contributions from theologian John Whitcomb, Berean Call ministry founder Dave Hunt and others, the program examines many aspects of the physical world, from the complex structure of DNA to the formation of water molecules, that point to a divine plan" (God of Wonders, Netflix).
This film changed my way of thinking about God and His universe!
"The most beautiful system of the Sun, Planets and Comets could only proceed from the counsel and dominion of an intelligent being. All variety of created objects which represent order and Life in the Universe could happen only by the willful reasoning of its original Creator, whom I call the Lord God" (Sir Isaac Newton).
