Need New Ideas to Connect with Your Grandchild?
How do you connect with your grandchild's heart?
During the holidays, I received a copy of The Grand Connection: 365 Ways to Connect with Your Grandchild's Heart by Mary Larmoyeux and Nancy Downing. Mary and Nancy wrote this book to encourage grandparents to connect with their grandkids.
"The Grand Connection helps bridge the communication gap as generations learn from one another. It’s filled with creative ideas, getting-to-know-you activities, and easy-to-make games (paper and electronic). There’s something for every personality style—from the very outgoing grandparent or grandchild to ones who are introverted and reflective" (The Grand Connection).
This grandparenting book includes many "age-appropriate and easy-to-use" ideas. Since I have seven grandkids now, I'm grateful for this new resource. And I know anyone who wants to connect with kids will appreciate this book—whether you're a grandparent, parent, teacher, or a child's "grownup" friend.
Mary also shares more thoughts on grandparenting on her Grand Connection blog, including "Tuesday’s Thought" and "Friday's Fun."
You can purchase new The Grand Connection book on Mary's website.
Thanks for the grandparenting help, Mary and Nancy!
