Christmas Countdown

Trying to think of a way to countdown to Christmas with your kids?

Christmas Countdown. My daughter Tara found this Stocking Countdown Calendar on Disney's Family Fun website.

Just gather up 25 colorful socks, clothespins, markers, 6 feet of cord, and you're ready to plan some fun activities for your Christmas Countdown. [Go to Disney's Family Fun link for detailed instructions.]

The Ross kids began their countdown on Day 1 by hanging candy canes on their Christmas tree.

Other ideas

* make Christmas wreaths
* writing letters to Santa
* ride to see Christmas lights
* decorate Christmas cookies
* make Christmas ornaments
* watch Family Christmas movie
* enjoy family Game night
* wrap presents
* make birthday cupcakes for Jesus
* read Christmas stories
* make special Christmas deserts
* visit Santa at the mall
* go Christmas shopping

... a little messy, but a whole lot of fun!

Thanks. A special "thank you" to Tara, Aidan, Ethan, and Julia for sharing your Christmas Countdown with BLESSED!
