Eternal Easter Miracle by Linda Miller
Early in the morning, on the first day of the week,
I arose to seek the garden for my eyes could not find sleep.
I sought a place more holy than my narrow self-filled room
And knew at once I'd find it at the door to Jesus' tomb.
The air was fresh and dewy, perfumed with flowers and new life.
Yesterday was lost with daybreak and the sun's first rays of light.
It seemed my burdens at once were lifted, as I stood outside the door
And thought of all He'd done for me, and what had gone before.
I did not need to go inside, to see the empty space
For my heart was filled with love divine, and the presence of His grace
I will never get over the wonder of the miracle that he
Could live and die, and live again, to save sinners just like me.
