"Be still and know that I am God" (Psalm 46:10 NIV).

Oh, how I can get distracted! I'm like a little child in a candy story—overwhelmed at everything around me. And I can't focus on just one thing.

But, Lord, You've taught me to be still and focus on You. So that's what I'm choosing to do right now—not just doing all the talking (or writing) either. Help me to be quiet and listen.

Guide me to Your Word, so I can hear Your Voice. I need direction for my day—my life!  Amen.
