Tuck's Tales: Trouble with a Tattle Tail

Tuck shares another tale this week (or rather a "Tattle Tail") on the BLESSED Journal.

We can all relate to getting in trouble as kids. I have to admit that I haven't written about very many (if any) of the times I disobeyed my parents. I can think of a few right now, and I think I'll add them on my "to do" list for future stories. A lot of us don't really want to admit to our failures or rebellion, as children, teens, or adults. But it might benefit us to take a look back, just to remember that we once were kids, too—especially when we may be tempted to claim "perfect childhood obedience" to our own kids. I hope that I'm always reminded of my own mistakes, so I will offer grace and mercy to others.

I don't think I ever slipped into a beer joint to play pool, but I did throw water balloons at passing cars, skip class a few times in school, and sneak out of the house with friends at night and wrap a few houses with toilet tissue.

How about you? Can you remember some of your first "wild and crazy times" as a child or teen?

I hope you will write a few of your memories down. They may be some of the most humorous stories you might ever dare to write. And I hope you'll share them with our BLESSED Journal readers.

Keep writing!

Karen
