Got an attitude?

This month, I wrote an article, “Shades of Green,” for Encouraging Women with Hearts for Their Homes.

Bad attitude. When I wrote this piece, I’d been dealing with my own bad attitude and negative thinking. I really hate to admit my weaknesses—especially online! But I know others relate to the negative thoughts that often come from the isolation of working at home. How do I know? Because other people have told me their stories!

Answered prayer? I find it odd how the very thing I prayed for years ago—to be able to work from my home—ends up becoming one of the most difficult issues I struggle with in my life now. And as a stay-at-home mom for years or as a writer now, I continue to wrestle with this issue.

What’s your story? I hope “Shades of Green” will encourage you to write your story. Did you connect with my experience in any way? Whether you work at home by yourself, at home surrounded by energetic children, or in another workplace—how do you handle your own negative thoughts? Or do you handle them at all?

Keep writing!
