I realized lately that I needed to start posting some more writing prompts for my readers. And since this blog is called the BLESSED DiaBlog, and I also post stories on the BLESSED Journal—what better subject to begin with than the word "blessed"?

"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven" (Matthew 5:3 NIV).

What do you think that scripture means?
