Jessica Kirkland wrote an inspiring legacy story about her mom, called  Modeled Obedience, on the BLESSED Journal this week.

As I read Jessica's story, I thought of carpooling my own children. At the time, I didn't think too much about what they thought of me or my actions, while I was driving them back and forth to their activities. Not only does Jessica remind us of how little eyes are watching us and little ears are listening to us, she demonstrates the power of our words and faith in the lives of our children.

I hope Jessica's article encourages you to remember a few of your childhood experiences. Or it may also remind you of some crucial moments with your own children.
