Today, our family celebrates my first granddaughter's second birthday. And in honor of this day, I wanted to share a few memories of Jill's birth on the BLESSED Journal. "The Image" captures a few of the people, places, and events surrounding this special day in the life of our family.

I hope my story prompts a few memories for you. And I challenge you to start a memory journal of your own, if you haven't written any of your own family stories yet. If your journal is collecting dust, it may be time to capture a few stories soon.

I'm so grateful that I recorded a few of my thoughts when Jill was born. Now, as I read my story, I remember a lot of the sights and sounds of that day vividly. 

I also pray that one day, Jill will be blessed with the memories of her birth, recorded in this simple narrative.
